  8.          Thanks for downloading the "RECIO" demo designed and written
  9.          by Software Seasonings.
  10.  
  11.          RECIO is a font editor designed for both the serious font
  12.          designer as well as the "weekend" font fiddler.  This is a
  13.          limited use demo that does not save any of the font changes
  14.          performed.  The print function prints only the first ten
  15.          characters of any font selected.
  16.  
  17.          WARNING:
  18.  
  19.          When using the font editor please copy your PrintMaster(C)
  20.          subdirectory or disk onto a working disk and use this demo
  21.          with that working disk.  This demo does create new fonts and
  22.          it is possible to overwrite an existing font by accident.
  23.          All overwrites are verified but accidents do happen.

  25.          ** HAVE FUN **

  27.          Explore the demo--here are some pointers to using the demo:
  28.  
  29.          First modify the configuration file and set all the paths to
  30.          the correct paths for your system.  If you have created a
  31.          working subdirectory then have the paths point to the
  32.          subdirectory.  If you have created a working disk then copy
  33.          this demo onto that disk and set the paths to your floppy
  34.          drive "A:".
  35.  
  36.          After setting the config file then click on the application,
  37.          after a few promo windows the printer configuration file will
  38.          be loaded and you will be informed on the printer
  39.          configuration (The file is set for low resolution EPSON, you
  40.          may change it with your text editor to better suit your
  41.          printer) then the main form will appear.

  44.          First click on the "FONT SET" option and select "OPEN" from
  45.          the pop-up menu.  A file selector will appear,  select the
  46.          font set you wish to work with and press "OK".  You may then
  47.          try the other options on the "FONT SET" menu or load a font
  48.          to edit by selecting the "FONT MAP" option then selecting the
  49.          "OPEN" option.

  51.          NOTE:

  53.          The pop-up menus can have from one to many options selectable
  54.          through either the mouse cursor or by pressing the letter
  55.          displayed on the far right of the menu.  Letters that are
  56.          preceeded by a truiple bar indicate that a submenu will
  57.          follow.  If you wish to move the menu to a new spot you may
  58.          place the mouse cursor on the menu title then drag the entire
  59.          menu to a new spot.  You may abort a menu by clicking outside
  60.          the menu or by pressing the "UNDO" key.
